"Salut D'Amour" (Salut d'Amour) is a heartwarming South Korean film directed by Kang Je-gyu. Released in 2015, the film tells the story of an elderly man named Sung-chil and his unexpected friendship with his new neighbor, Geum-nim.

Sung-chil is a grumpy, elderly man who lives alone in a small apartment. He spends his days reminiscing about the past and interacting with his daughter and grandson, who constantly worry about his well-being. One day, a lively and friendly woman named Geum-nim moves in next door. She is a cheerful violinist and the complete opposite of Sung-chil.

As Sung-chil's initial annoyance with Geum-nim fades, the two gradually form an unlikely bond. Geum-nim's optimistic personality and energetic outlook on life start to rub off on Sung-chil, and he begins to enjoy her company. Despite their age difference, they find common ground through music and shared memories.

As the story unfolds, both Geum-nim and Sung-chil face personal struggles. Geum-nim is revealed to have a terminal illness, while Sung-chil battles with the memories of his late wife.
